For flying enthusiasts of all skills and of all ages. The Buttonville Flying Club Inc. has over 150 active members ranging in experience from new students with just a few hours, to seasoned aviators with thousands of hours under their belts, as well as those with zero hours and who are just interested in flying. It's all about camaraderie!
The Club promotes a friendly, social atmosphere where members can enjoy each other's company, feed off the rampant and infectious enthusiasm for flying, learn from each other, improve their flying skills ... and have fun together.
The Club organizes regular aviation-related activities such as monthly meetings with guest speakers, breakfast, lunch and dinner fly-outs, Young Eagles' days, weekend trips and an annual trip to the Bahamas. They are all just excuses for members to get together and fly with like-minded people.
You don't need to own a plane, or be a licensed pilot to join The Buttonville Flying Club -- but who knows, you may just find someone to buy block time from, or perhaps go into partnership with in your dream aircraft ... or even just hitch a ride.
BFC meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 7pm in the club lounge, northwest corner of Hangar 15 at Buttonville Airport. Guests welcome!
