Weather permitting ever Saturday and Sunday Morning members of the flying club gather in the Terminal building to choose a destination for breakfast. This is a list of some of the restaurants we have flown to.  To be chosen as a fly & dine destination the dinning establishment must at an airport or quickly  accessible from an airport within easy flying distance from Buttonville by the average general aviation plane.

ID Airport Location
CNC3 Brampton  The “Wings flight grill” restaurant right in the Terminal building. A great breakfast at a reasonable price.
CYFD Brantford The Sky Way café a great source of nourishment for the soul and the stomach, right in the flying club!
 
CNY3 Collingwood A New terminal building and great food! The town of Collingwood is near by, but you will need transportation to get downtown - There is a courtesy car available from the airport manager.  But my money is on the
 'Beyond the Clouds' diner open right in the new terminal building. . Open Thursday to Sunday 8 - 2 PM
(winter hours) and Tuesday to Sunday 8 - 3 PM (spring, summer and fall) beginning May 1.
CNV8 Edenvale  An active airport with many fly-in breakfast opportunities. Check out the Dine-n-Fly Restaurant.
CYGD Goderich They have a great Fly-in breakfast at least once an year, but if you want breakfast any other time, call Goderich Taxi 515-524-6594, and check out the “Skippers restaurant”
CYHM Hamilton Park at The Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum ,
eat in the excellent cafe and avoid the landing fee ( usually $15)! Mostly warplanes (Features include a Lancaster) but also a few great trainers/ bush planes!  
CPN4 Hanover Saugeen Dine right in terminal building in the appropriately named Airport Restaurant   Great Airport with Cheap fuel, but never did figure out how to find a taxi!
CYGK Kingston Lots of Great places in town, but recommend that you plan ahead if you want something to eat. Call Kingston and Amherst taxi at 613-542-3333 and try the Pan Chancho restaurant.
CPT2 Killarney Bill Harding claims that the best Fish and Chips I the world are right down on the dock a short 15 minute walk from the airport. Also other restaurants nearby in town (seasonal).
CNF4 Lindsay Airport View Restaurant  705-324-6545 . Best butter tarts in Ontario, and a BFC favorite destination when the weather is looking iffy and you need to stay close to home.
CYQA Muskoka Land and part at the NORTH end of the mile long runway and then hike for 10 minutes west along a private road ( or into the bush) to find the Skyways Restaurant

CYOO Oshawa The Refueling Station Cafe has not had the best reviews so please update us with the latest info.  Hours are iffy so call ahead: 905-433-0065.
CNK4 Parry Sound
 
WINGS CAFE IS NOW OPEN WITH AN EXPANDED
MENU, and a redone LOUNGE. 9-2 daily Mon - Fri and open weekends in good weather during the winter. Call  705-378-2893

CYPQ Peterborough The Springville Café, Great food in the new building. Monday to Friday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. call (705) 876-0847
CNT7 Picton Nothing on field ( Note: No gas), but grab a taxi (Dial A Dot's   (613) 476-3601 ) and try the town, including The Lighthouse Restaurant at the Picton Harbour Inn.
CYRO RockCliffe Only a 10 minute taxi ride from the heart of Downtown Ottawa, this is THE airport for GA flying into the capital. The Rockcliffe flying club has cheap self-serve fuel and you can walk around the field in 15 minutes to the café in the Aviation museum, or call a cab and see the sights! 
CNM4 Stratford Only 2 miles north of the town, call a taxi ( Radio cabs Tel: (519) 271-4242 ) and check out dozens of great spots!
CYKF Waterloo/ Wellington The Runway Café is open again ! But be careful there are landing fees ( $10 ?? not sure)
CYVV Wiarton The Roof top café  is ONTOP of the terminal building .. and as you can imagine is seasonal.  A courtesy car is available to go into town, various places to eat and the Fuel is Cheap!
CPR7 Wingham   Call Star taxi and check out several places including Maitland Restaurant, the Anchors Pub or,  Jag's Roadhouse ( You can walk to the last one, just Opposite airport on Hwy 86  (519) 357-4492  )
 CYCC  Cornwall  The Bruyere's Restaurent on Brokedale Road.  B-fast + Great BBQ.
CYRC  Chicoutimi  Restaurent in Terminal. - Lunch Counter and Tables.
