Paul Clarks Engine presentation

We had a packed house on November 14 for Paul Clarks most excellent engine presentation. It was everything you needed to know about engines in a short two hour presentation. Finally we learned the secret behind FMBE’s ravenous consumption of 60 cylinders. For those that couldn’t make it that night, or had forgotten the clubs secret handshake, here is a slimmed down version.

Over The Airwaves

I've discovered http://overtheairwaves.com. This website is absolutely chock full of safety and skill tips, accident reports and newsy bits. It is produced by Bob Miller, a CFII based in Tonawanda, and is also available as an e-newsletter. There is a fresh issue every two weeks.
Really worth a look!

Wings and Wheels 99 Poker run.

   This was to be my first ever poker run and the first time
I have ever flown into the Downsview airport. Normally you need
special permission to fly into Downsview due to its close
proximity to Pearson, and on field Bombardier aircraft plant.
Working with the Toronto Airspace Museums Wings and Wheel event,
 the 99’s had managed to talk their way  into making Downsview the
final stop in their annual Charity poker run.  For many of the
 local pilots, this was the first time they had been able to
 fly into this airport in the heart of their own city, one rich

Re: This New Website

Love this new website and looking forward to using it to it's fullest potential.
I hope everyone takes the time to familiarize themselves with the many features and options available.
I will be creating an album shortly as well and hope many other members do the same.
